DRYDENE DIESELALL® DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID is a premium mixture of 32.5% ultra-pure urea and 67.5% deionized water designed for use in Tier 4 and previous generation Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) emission systems. It meets all requirements of the ISO 22241-1 specification. In 2010, the EPA introduced stringent regulations to that required diesel engine vehicles to significantly reduce the level of harmful NOx emissions and particulate matter. Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) chemically reduces NOx emissions by converting them to harmless nitrogen and water by way of injection directly into the engine exhaust stream before the SCR catalyst.
